Sandra was very kind and her food was really great. I hope more people visiting Great Basin or driving through Baker stop for some of her Mexican food. This place can be easy to miss, but it is directly across from the gas station at the east end of town.

Sandra’s is a hug on a plate. I got my chicken burrito to go and she wrapped it so nicely, it was still perfectly hot when I got back to where I was staying. It really hit the spot!

What a beautiful lil place to get some authentic Mexican food that's reasonably priced for the area AND after hiking all day at GBNP. I loved everything about it. I sat on the deck and took in all the sights as I ate my food. Check it out if you're in Baker!

So thankful for the amazing people in this little town — truly some of the kindest we’ve ever met. We had to leave a hotel near the Utah-Nevada border because the cabin smelled like smoke and mold, the toilet was broken, and the kitchen didn’t work. Out of options, we drove to Baker, hoping for a miracle. Both inns were full, but the lovely owner of Stargazer Inn sent us to her friend Sandra’s taco truck — they had cabins for rent. Sandra welcomed us with a key to check it out, and it was perfect: clean, cozy, modern, and right inside Great Basin National Park. Her family was so kind and helpful — even her son came over to greet us while working. Didn’t get to try the tacos, but the place was busy and smelled incredible. This town turned a rough night into something we’ll never forget. Thank you

Is this the best burrito I have ever had? I think so. The food is so fresh and delicious, no excess oil, feels like eating the kind of food someone would make in their own home. We had so much and it doesn’t feel heavy at all. Really refreshing! A hidden gem.

A quick walk from our stay at the Star Gazer Inn. We got a beef burrito and quesabirria, both of which were delicious, including the rice and salsa! You could tell everything was fresh. My husband also got the horchata which was some of the best he’d ever had. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Fantastic food made fresh to order. The menu includes traditional favorites -- burrito, queso birria, gorditas, etc. There's a covered picnic area in this tiny scenic town outside Great Basin National Park. There's a gas station across the road. Sandra enjoys reading so we gave her a book in Spanish by our favorite author.
